LOCATION - Lat 44°53'19", long 68°56'01" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Penobscot County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01020005, on Kenduskeag-Levant Road, 2.5 mi south of Kenduskeag, near Kenduskeag-Levant Town Line, Kenduskeag. Owner: Private.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR ME-84-1: 1979, 1980, 1981.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 101 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 31 ft, bottom of last opening 89.5 ft. Measured depth 95 ft, Sept. 2013. Drilled artesian observation well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 194.24 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of steel casing at highest point, 2.16 ft below land-surface datum, Dec. 10, 1999 to present. Land-surface datum is 3.93 ft above the general land surface.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1978 to current year. Prior to Oct. 1989, daily mean data were published every fifth day.
GAGE - Electronic water-level recorder.
REMARKS - Gaps in record indicate missing data. Aquifer: Bedrock of Silurian age.
