LOCATION - Lat 44°22'42.02", long 121°40'59.26" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.08, T.14 S., R.9 E., Deschutes County, OR, Hydrologic Unit 17070301, 2.8 mi southwest of the peak of Black Butte.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 403 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 335 ft, bottom of last opening 403 ft. Drilled industrial well, sounded depth of 400.66 ft on Oct. 20, 2006. Well unused.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 3,391.02 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Transfer MP created for migration, 0 ft above land-surface datum, May. 9, 1985 to Nov. 23, 1993; TOP OF LIP OF 1/2 INCH ACCESS HOLE IN WELDED CAP, 1.65 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 10, 1993 to Nov. 24, 1993; Southside top of casing, 1.65 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 23, 1993 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1993 to current year. Records for Apr. 5-26, May 15-30, June 6, 10, 21, 24, July 26 to Aug. 2, Aug. 10-13, 2002 published in WRD OR-02-1, are unreliable and should not be used.

REMARKS - State observation well number 1323. State well identification DESC 1804. Water levels prior to October 1998 subject to variation of up to 0.32 foot due to differences in measurement method.
