LOCATION - Lat 43°23'10", long 70°39'33" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, York County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01060003, about 4.5 mi southeast of South Sanford. Owner: U.S. Geological Survey.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 39 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 34 ft, bottom of last opening 39 ft. Screen slot size 0.010 in. Wash-bored unconfined observation well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 208.05 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of PVC casing at black mark, 2.9 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 1, 1988 to Dec. 14, 2017; Top of PVC casing between file marks, 1.39 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 14, 2017 to present. Land-surface datum is at the general land surface.
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1988 to current year. Prior to Oct. 1989, daily mean data were published every fifth day.
GAGE - Electronic water-level recorder.
REMARKS - Gaps in record indicate missing data. Aquifer: Ice contact glaciofluvial deposits of Pleistocene age.
