LOCATION - Lat 41°24'28.5", long 76°59'41.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Lycoming County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02050206, at State Game Land No. 133, and near Trout Run.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 200 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 23 ft, bottom of last opening 200 ft. Drilled observation well, cased to 23 ft, open hole.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,418 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: TOP OF RECORDER SHELF; VALUE FROM LATER MP RECORD; CREATED FOR AQ MIGR; MOD DATE; 11/17/1971, 3.0 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 1, 1971 to Jun. 20, 1995; top of recorder shelf, 3.0 ft above land-surface datum, Jun. 20, 1995 to present. Elevation of land surface is from Lidar.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1967 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform with 15-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Site maintained in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Water level was lowered when nearby well was drilled in Aug. 1999. Daily maximum water levels are available for this well for the period of record. For some years, daily minimum and daily mean water levels may also be available from the USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center Office.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Prior to October 2000, the extremes shown were based on extremes of the daily maximum depth below land-surface datum. Since that date, the extremes are based on the instantaneous depth below land-surface datum. Highest water level, 76.10 ft below land-surface datum, Jun 23, 1972; lowest recorded, 107.22 ft below land-surface datum, Sep 6, 1999.
