LOCATION - Lat 41°06'28.4", long 73°41'32.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Fairfield County, CT, Hydrologic Unit 01100006, 0.9 mi north of intersection of Riversville Rd. and John St., 250 ft south of Sterling Rd. and 360 ft east of Riversville Rd., Greenwich; Glenville quadrangle.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 350 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 18.7 ft, bottom of last opening 350 ft. Bored, unused, water-table well, steel casing 18.7 ft below land surface, open hole.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 465.11 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Old MP, 1.28 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 5, 2001 to Apr. 5, 2002; Black arrow on steel casing, 1.28 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 4, 2002 to present; Black arrow on steel casing, 466.39 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 4, 2016 to present. Prior to Nov. 4, 2016, land-surface datum was reported as 465 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
