LOCATION - Lat 40°22'07.5", long 76°18'06.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Lebanon County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040203, at Myerstown.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 37 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined.
Well depth originally reported as 80 ft; soundings in June 1997 found the depth was 37 ft. Drilled unused well, casing information not available, open hole.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 442.76 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: top of casing, 3.5 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 1, 1973 to Apr. 22, 1981; top of plywood shelf, 2.7 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 22, 1981 to present. Elevation of land surface is from survey.
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1973 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform with 15-minute recording interval since April 2023; prior, 30-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Site maintained in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Daily maximum water levels are available for this well for the period of record. For some years, daily minimum and daily mean water levels may also be available from the USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center Office.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Prior to October 2000, the extremes were based on extremes of the daily maximum depth below land-surface datum. Since that date, the extremes are based on the instantaneous depth below land-surface datum. Highest water level, 1.98 ft above land-surface datum, Sep 8, 2011; lowest, 11.55 ft below land-surface datum, Jan 8, 2002.
