USGS Water-Year Summary 2024
382726093121601 Cole Camp
Ozark Plateaus aquifer system
Canadian Series
LOCATION - Lat 38°27'26.4", long 93°12'16.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.35, T.43 N., R.21 W., Benton County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 10290109,
REVISIONS HISTORY -
Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 1,044.46 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 1,045 ft NAVD88 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

The record from 04/19/2007 to 09/30/2008 has been modified after it was previously set to 'Approved' status. A -2.1 ft measuring point height correction has been applied to this data to reference the data to land surface instead of the measuring point which is referenced in the field.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,044.46 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: DNR DCP platform shelf, 2.1 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 1, 1947 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 19, 2007 to present.
GAGE - From 04/19/2007 to present; water level recording device is a telemetry DCP. Water level measuring device is a float driven encoder.
COOPERATION - From 04/19/2007 to present, data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). From 04/19/2007 to present. data processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS -

A nearby pumping well caused rapid water level fluctuations of 7 to 9 ft to occur daily during the period 04/19/2007 to 03/17/2008. Data from 04/19/2007 to 09/30/2008 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (2 measurement) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. The record from 04/19/2007 to 03/26/2008 is considered poor because no water level measurements were made during the period and a -0.54 ft correction was needed during the 03/26/2008 site visit which was about 11 months after the gage was started. Data from 03/26/2008 to 09/30/2008 is good (after the reset on 03/26/2008) based on the water level measurement made during the next site visit on 10/02/2008. Data from 10/01/2008 to 04/13/2010 is good based on the 5 water level measurements made during this period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Data from 04/13/2010 to 08/10/2011 is good based on the 5 water level measurements made during this period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Data from 08/10/2011 to 04/08/2012 is good based on the 5 water level measurements made during this period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Data from 04/09/2012 to 11/04/2013 is good based on the 5 water level measurements made during this period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 11/05/2013 to 11/24/2014 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 11/25/2014 to 05/17/2016 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.15 ft. The record from 05/18/2016 to 11/28/2016 is good based on 1 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 11/29/2016 to 06/06/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 06/06/2017 to 01/31/2018 is good based on 2 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 02/01/2018 to 07/02/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 07/03/2018 to 08/01/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 08/02/2018 to 03/25/2019 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 03/26/2019 to 05/14/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 05/15/2019 to 09/09/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.

All later correction notes and remarks can be found in RMS as of 09/10/2019.
