LOCATION - Lat 32°20'47", long 86°21'43" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.21, T.16 N., R.17 E., Montgomery County, AL, Hydrologic Unit 03150201, at Lomax School on Hayneville Road, 0.5 mi northeast of intersection with U.S. Highway 31, and 4.5 mi southwest of Montgomery.Owner: County of Montgomery.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 270 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 210 ft, bottom of last opening 270 ft. Drilled observation artesian well, diameter 6 in, depth 270 ft, screened 210 to 215 ft, 220 to 225 ft, 265 to 270 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 167.2 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF CASING, 1.00 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 7, 1952 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1952 to current year.
REMARKS - Record considered good. Water levels are reported to be affected by pumping nearby wells.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 11.9 ft below land-surface datum, Mar. 17, 1968; lowest, 31.94 ft below land-surface datum, Oct. 21, 2007.
