LOCATION - Lat 30°15'16", long 88°52'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Harrison County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 03170009, on the USGS East Ship Island platform, 12 miles southeast of Gulfport.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2008 to current year.
REMARKS - 10/01/2013-09/30/2014: Gage-height records fair. Interruptions in the record were due to malfunction of the instrument. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD.-- GAGE HEIGHT: Maximum recorded, 7.45 ft, Aug. 29, 2012, but may have been higher during periods of instrument malfunction; minimum recorded, -2.55 ft, Feb. 7, 2011, but may have been lower during period of instrument malfunction.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD -

Maximum instantaneous gage height = 8.94 feet on Oct. 7, 2017.

Minimum instantaneous gage height = -2.55 feet on Feb. 7, 2011.
