LOCATION - Lat 26°35'33.2", long 81°59'20.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.02, T.45 S., R.23 E., Lee County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090205, 0.1 mi east of intersection of Skyline Boulevard and Gleason Parkway, in median of Gleason Parkway and 3.5 mi northwest of Cape Coral Post Office.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 177 ft. Upper casing diameter 8 in; top of first opening 110 ft, bottom of last opening 177 ft. Drilled, observation, artesian well, diameter 8 in., depth 177 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 9.58 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of shelf, 12.98 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May. 1, 1966 to Apr. 10, 2013; Top of recorder shelf, 13.14 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Apr. 10, 2013 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1966 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform.
REMARKS - Water levels affected by pumping of nearby wells. Records of water levels prior to October 1973 are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Station repaired and surveyed April 10, 2013.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 4.59 ft below NGVD, Oct. 7, 2022; lowest, 74.67 ft below NGVD, June 3, 2004.
