LOCATION - Lat 25°57'08.5", long 81°35'03.92" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.11, T.52 S., R.27 E., Collier County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090204, Big Cypress Swamp and Southwestern Coastal Area.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: May 2007 to September 2008. July 2010 to October 2015. Discontinued. GAGE HEIGHT: May 2007 to September 2008. July 2010 to October 2015. Discontinued.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with water quality monitor. Datum of gage is 5.92 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - Streamflow at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. Daily mean discharge was computed from filtered unit value discharge data. The Godin low-pass filter was used to remove principal tidal frequencies from unit values. Positive discharge is generally to the southwest and negative discharge to the northeast. Discharge and gage height data are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey and online at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis.

DISCHARGE: Maximum positive discharge (unfiltered), 1,890 ft³/s Sept. 30, 2015; maximum negative discharge (unfiltered), 2,630 ft³/s Aug. 27, 2012.

GAGE HEIGHT: Maximum gage height, 8.51 ft Aug. 27, 2012; minimum, 1.99 ft Jan. 21, 2008.

REMARKS - Salinity and water temperature sensors were located at surface (TOP) and an arbitrary 1.5 ft (BOTTOM). The top probe was removed on Oct. 4, 2011. During periods of missing record, values may have been higher or lower than the listed extremes. Salinity and water temperature data are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey and online at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis.
