LOCATION - Lat 18°25'48.3", long 66°30'42.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Manati Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010002, 0.95 mi (1.53 km) east of the Río Grande de Manatí at Highway 2 bridge at Manatí, 0.4 mi (0.64 km) southwest of Central Monserrate, 1.07 mi (1.72 km) east of the intersection of State Road 666 with Highway 2, 1.2 mi (1.93 km) west of the intersection of State Road 685 with Highway 2, and 0.01 mi (0.02 km) north of Highway 2.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 32.2 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Instrumentation Table On Shelter Floor, 2.90 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 17, 2012 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - One measurement in November 30, 1995. March 21, 1996 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder 60 minute interval, satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Funding for site provided by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources and the US Geological Survey.
REMARKS - The area around the well is subject to flooding from the Río Grande de Manatí.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - May 31, 1996 to October 10, 2002. August 25, 2009 to current year.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 16.41 ft., below land-surface datum, April 24, 2010; lowest water level recorded, 26.24 ft., below land-surface datum, August 20, 2011.
