LOCATION - Lat 18°13'00.03", long 67°08'19.23" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Mayaquez Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010003, 0.04 mi (0.07 km) west from Civil Engineering Building, 1.07 mi (1.72 km) east from Mayagüez Zoo, 0.75 mi (1.21 km) south of Mayagüez Town, and 2.20 mi (3.55 km) north from Tuna Factory.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 37.95 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: INSIDE SHELTER, TOP OF THE 2' PVC PIPE (SEE THE BLACK MARK IN THE RIGHT SITE), 3.18 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 17, 2012 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 28, 2011 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder 60 minute interval, satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Funding for site provided by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources and the U.S. Geological Survey.
