LOCATION - Lat 17°59'46", long 66°12'59" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Salinas Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010004, 2.7 mi (4.34 km) northeast of Central Aguirre Church, 6.16 mi (9.91 km) northwest of Guayama School, and 2.7 mi (4.34 km) northeast of Highway 3 at km 151.3.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 51 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 41 ft, bottom of last opening 46 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 135 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: HOLE ON SIDE OF CASING, 3.00 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 5, 2003 to present; SHELTER FLOOR, 3.42 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 6, 2012 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 1, 1987 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder 60 minute interval, satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Funding for site provided by the Puerto Rico Environmental Quality Board and the U.S. Geological Survey.
