LOCATION - Lat 47°23'12", long 121°50'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.19, T.22 N., R.8 E., King County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17110012, Snoqualmie National Forest, on left bank 0.6 mi upstream from mouth, and 1.3 mi northeast of Selleck.
DRAINAGE AREA - 17.2 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1932: Drainage area. WDR-WA-06-1: 1986-87(M), 1989-91(M), 1995-96(M), 1999(M), 2004(M).

Gage height and discharge for Feb. 5, 2020 were revised on July 7, 2020, based on a data review.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June to October 1945, August 1956 to current year (continuous-record gaging station). August 1997, August 2005 (Chemical analysis).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 940 ft above NGVD of 1929 (from topographic map) and is 943.37 ft above NAVD of 1988 (from GNSS survey by USGS, July 19, 2022). June to October 1945 on right bank 350 ft downstream at different datum.
REMARKS - No regulation or diversion upstream from station. U.S. Geological Survey satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 2,730 ft³/s, Jan. 29, 1965, gage height, 5.78 ft from rating curve extended above 1,100 ft³/s on basis of slope-area measurement; minimum discharge, 14.9 ft³/s, Sept. 14-19, 22, 23, 2023.
