LOCATION - Lat 38°29'39", long 122°51'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Sonoma County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18010110, in Molinos Land Grant, on downstream side of bridge, on right bank, 0.7 mi north of Trenton, and 3.0 mi upstream of confluence of the Russian River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 251 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2005 to September 2010, (October 2008 to September 2010 low-flow records only), October 2011 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 2.28 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Backwater conditions from the Russian River can occur during high flow periods. No regulation upstream of station, some diversion for irrigation of about 11,000 acres. See schematic diagram of Russian River Basin available from the California Water Science Center.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 15,500 ft³/s, Feb. 28, 2019; maximum gage height, 72.62 ft February 27, 2019; minimum discharge, -830 ft³/s, Dec. 31, 2005, from backwater of the Russian River; no flow many days.
