LOCATION - Lat 37°58'04", long 119°54'59" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.05, T.1 N., R.19 E., Tuolumne County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18040009, Stanislaus National Forest, on right bank, 0.7 mi downstream from Cherry Valley Dam, 3.5 mi upstream from Eleanor Creek, 6.7 mi north of Early Intake, and 7.2 mi west of Hetch Hetchy Dam.
DRAINAGE AREA - 118 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1956 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 4,337.08 ft above NGVD of 1929 (levels by city and county of San Francisco).
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Cherry Lake (station 11277200) 0.7 mi upstream. Diversion between Lake Eleanor (station 11277500) and Cherry Lake began Mar. 6, 1960. Diversion from Cherry Lake to Dion R. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 6,460 ft³/s, Dec. 31, 2005, from rating curve extended above 4,000 ft³/s, gage height, 11.60 ft; minimum daily, 0.77 ft³/s, Dec. 1-4, 1988.
