LOCATION - Lat 37°00'04.1", long 109°01'46.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Montezuma County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14080201, on right bank 0.1 mi north of New Mexico-Colorado State line, 2,800 ft upstream from bridge on U.S. Highway 160, 1.0 mi east of Four Corners Monument, 3.0 mi downstream from Mancos River, and at mile 187.2.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 4,600 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to August 2003, gage was located on left bank (about 1,300 ft upstream of U.S. Highway 160 bridge). In August 2003, gage was moved to right bank. In March 2009, gage was moved about 1,500 ft upstream to its current location.
