LOCATION - Lat 38°31'16.0", long 106°56'27.45" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.11, T.49 N., R.1 W., Gunnison County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14020003, on upstream side of bridge near the left bank, 1.8 mi southwest of Post Office in Gunnison, and 2.0 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,061 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 7,628.58 ft above NGVD of 1929. Nov. 25 to Dec. 24, 1910, nonrecording gage 300 ft upstream at different datum. Apr. 20, 1938 to Oct. 2, 1940, water-stage recorder at site 335 ft downstream at datum 1.00 ft higher. Prior to Oct. 27, 2016, on right bank at site 335 ft downstream, at same datum.
