LOCATION - Lat 34°08'40.7", long 90°13'48.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.07, T.26 N., R.1 E., Quitman County, MS, Hydrologic Unit is unknown, at Island Lake road bridge, about 6 miles southwest of Hwy 322 at Crowder or about 7 miles south of the Tallahatchie River headwaters between Lambert and Crowder.
DRAINAGE AREA - ~2030 sq. miles from StreamStats software, The delineation point is in an exclusion area. Lower Mississippi River Alluvial Plain. Delineations and basin characteristics are uncertain.

Water-stage recorder. Local assumed datum. Recorder is located on a junction box attached to secured metal pole above ground in upstream left flood plain near well, connected to river at fence post with junction box on upstream left bank about 30 feet from transmitter.
