LOCATION - Lat 40°52'14", long 87°18'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.15, T.28 N., R.8 W., Newton County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 07120002, on right bank at downstream side of bridge on State Highway 55, 0.2 mi north of intersection of State Highways 16 and 55, 0.5 mi downstream from Mosquito Creek, 0.6 mi west of Foresman, 3 mi east of Brook, and at mile 72.7.
