LOCATION - Lat 46°04'34", long 92°14'48" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.33, T.42 N., R.15 W., Burnett County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07030001, (previous published lat: 46°04'30", long: 092°14'50") St. Croix National Scenic Waterway, on right bank 100 ft upstream of bridge on State Highway 35, 3.5 mi downstream from Namekagon River, 10 mi northeast of Danbury, and at mile 129.2. Address: 32151 St. Rd 35, Danbury, WI.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,580 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1438: 1915(M), 1919-20, 1923-24(M), 1927(M), 1931(M), 1934, 1935-37(M). WSP 1628: 1918. WDR WI-85-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 882.20 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to Apr. 23, 1937, nonrecording gage 200 ft downstream, on the opposite bank and at same datum. Apr. 23, 1937, to Jan. 5, 1939, nonrecording gage and from Jan. 6, 1939 to Dec. 5, 2006, recording gage 160 ft downstream, on the opposite bank and at the same datum.
REMARKS - Records are considered good except for estimated daily discharges which are poor and other periods as noted. For records status prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in annual water-data reports. Gage-height telemeter at station. Flow partially regulated by dam on Namekagon River at Trego.
