04183500 Maumee River at Antwerp OH
LOCATION - Lat 41°11'56", long 84°44'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Paulding County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 04100005, The gage is located on the left bank, 425 ft downstream (East)from State Rt 49 on county Rd 192. 1.2 mi North of Antwerp, Ohio and 7 mi downstream from Indiana State Line. Antwerp is roughly 23 miles SW of Defiance on State route 24. The gage is below a group of farm buildings.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,129 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1174: 1927, 1933, 1940. WSP 1387: 1922-23, 1925-27, 1934. WDR OH-70-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 1921 to December 1935, April 1939 to September 1981. March 2014 to present.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 689.80 ft (NAVD 1988). Prior to March 2014 datum was published as 694.90 (NGVD 1929). Prior to Sept. 13, 1925, non recording gage at site 400 ft upstream at (NGVD 1929).
REMARKS - Municipal and industrial uses upstream. Low flow slightly regulated by power plant at Fort Wayne, Indiana, 32 mi upstream. Flow slightly regulated by upstream reservoirs. 
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of Mar. 27, 1913, estimated as 40,000 ft³/s. Flood of March 17,1982, 26,100 ft³/s, gage height, 21.70 ft.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: Feb. 2018 to current year.  SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Feb. 2018 to current year.  pH: Feb. 2018 to current year.  DISSOLVED OXYGEN: Feb. 2018 to current year.  TURBIDITY: Feb. 2018 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor.  Electronic data logger set for 15-minute interval.
REMARKS -

Feb. 6, 2018 to Oct. 11, 2018: Water temperature records good.  pH records good except for Oct. 8, 2018 to Oct. 11, 2018, which are fair.  Dissolved oxygen records good.  Turbidity records fair.  Specific conductance records fair except Feb. 6, 2018 to Aug. 8, 2018, which are poor. 

Daily mean concentration and daily mean load records poor. 

Water quality data collected at this site 1969 to 1977 and 2013 to current year.
