03026480 East Branch Clarion River near Clermont, PA
LOCATION - Lat 41°38'38.6", long 78°31'53.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, McKean County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05010005, on right bank 1,290 ft downstream from Buck Run, 3.8 mi southwest of Clermont, and 7.9 mi upstream from East Branch Clarion River Lake.  
DRAINAGE AREA - 8.32 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Discharge revised for May 29, 2013 based upon a rating extension technique.

Discharge and stage for Jan. 12, 2018 were revised on Nov. 15, 2019 based upon review of record.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2012 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and water-quality monitor. Datum of gage is 1,763 ft. above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1988, from topographic map. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for this station is provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
REMARKS - Records are good except those for estimated discharge, which are poor.  
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: July 2012 to current year.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
INSTRUMENTATION - A SDI_12 water temperature sensor interfaced with a data collection platform with 15-minute recording interval.
REMARKS -

Historically, water temperature below 0 degrees Celsius were not reported. Water temperature sensors now have the ability to accurately read water temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius. Cross-sectional water quality data is available upon request.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 25.5°C, Jul 09, 2020; minimum, -0.1°C, several days during winter periods.
