02313272 WITHLACOOCHEE RIVER AT CHAMBERS ISLAND NEAR YANKEETOWN, FL.
LOCATION - Lat 29°00'03.09", long 82°45'57.45" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, S14 T17S R15E, Levy County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100207, (Withlacoochee Bay quadrangle), 5 mi southwest of Yankeetown at Levy County boat ramp, Green channel marker #39A, 7 mi southwest of U.S. Highway 19 on County Road 40, and 11 mi downstream from the Inglis Dam at the mouth of the Withlacoochee River.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2006:Revised figures of gage height, in feet NAVD 88, for October 1-11, 2006.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 2005 to September 2010 (tidal high-high and low-low gage heights only); October 2010 to current year (maximum and minimum gage heights only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 0.20 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to July 15, 2010, at site approximately 1/2 mile upstream at same datum.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Gage height at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. The extremes for periods published previously as tidal high-high and low-low gage heights are equivalent to maximum and minimum gage heights.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 7.07 ft above datum of gage, Sep. 2, 2016; minimum, 4.77 ft below datum of gage, Sept. 10, 2017.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS

COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitors consisting of specific conductance and temperature sensors located near the surface and near the bottom. Top sensor elevation is 6.6 ft below North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Bottom sensor elevation is 10.8 ft below NAVD '88.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Top sensor maximum, 48,400 microsiemens, Sept. 21, 2022; bottom sensor maximum, 50,200 microsiemens, Nov. 17, 2007; top sensor minimum 332 microsiemens, Aug. 17, 2019; bottom sensor minimum, 272 microsiemens, Feb. 28, 2006.
