LOCATION - Lat 28°42'09.5", long 82°37'29.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 sec.32, T.20 S., R.17 E., Citrus County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100207, (Chassahowitzka Bay quadrangle), on southeast corner of a dock on Dog Island in the Chassahowitzka National Refuge, about 1.09 miles upstream from the mouth of the Chassahowitzka River. Gage is 0.6 miles downstream of Crawford Creek and 3.8 miles downstream from the head springs of the river.
DRAINAGE AREA - 118 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Gage height for the period September 15, 2016 to June 7, 2017 were revised on February 2, 2018, based on changes in gage elevation found during levels.
