  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

DRAINAGE AREA - 414 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1999 to September 2003 (maximum and minimum gage heights only); October 2003 to September 2010 (tidal high-high and low-low gage heights only); October 2010 to March 2015 (maximum and minimum gage heights only), March 2015 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage and velocity recorder. Datum of gage is National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Prior to June 10, 2021, gage located on right bank private dock approximately 0.4 mi upstream, at current datum.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District and Hillsborough County.
REMARKS - Gage height at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. The extremes for periods published previously as tidal high-high and low-low gage heights are equivalent to maximum and minimum gage heights.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 6.56 ft, Aug. 30, 2023; minimum, 2.98 ft below NGVD 29, Jan. 3, 2008.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2016 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - An 8-inch diameter, tipping bucket precipitation gage 15-minute interval, mounted on an aluminum pipe with the top of the funnel 6 ft above the dock.
REMARKS - Collection, computation and publication of precipitation data do not necessarily conform to standards used by the National Weather Service.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1999 to current year.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Tampa Bay Water.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor consisting of specific conductance and temperature sensors located near the top and near the bottom. The top sensor is at an elevation of 2.6 ft, below NGVD and the bottom sensor is at a an elevation of 4.8 ft. below NGVD.
REMARKS - Top sensor comes out of water at times during extreme low tides.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Top sensor maximum, 41,700 microsiemens, May 11, 2001; bottom sensor maximum, 43,300 microsiemens, Nov. 7, 2008; top sensor minimum, 79 microsiemens, Jan. 1, 2003; bottom sensor minimum, 80 microsiemens, Sept. 7, 2004. TEMPERATURE: Top sensor maximum, 33.4°C, Aug. 12, 2023; bottom sensor maximum, 33.5°C, Aug. 12, 2023; top sensor minimum, 8.9°C, Jan. 13, 2010; bottom sensor minimum, 8.8°C, Jan. 13, 2010.
