LOCATION - Lat 33°46'39", long 84°02'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Gwinnett County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03070103, downstream side of bridge on County Road 135, and 3.4 miles east of Centerville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 10.1 mi².

GAGE - Satellite telemetry with water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 735.53ft above NAVD88.

REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Data for parameter code 63680 (turbidity) were collected using a probe with the following specifications: turbidity, water, monochrome near infra-red LED light, 780-900 nm, detection angle 90 +/-2.5 degrees, FNU (Formazin Nephelometric Units). Prior to October 1, 2004, turbidity data were published using parameter code 00076: turbidity, water, unfiltered, NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units). Hydrologic event code of 9 indicates a routine sample while J designates a storm event sample. Laboratory chemical analyses are by RTI Laboratories, Livonia, MI, and Test America Laboratory, Denver, CO. Laboratory sediment analyses are by the U.S. Geological Survey, Kentucky Sediment Laboratory. Field determinations of discharge, gage height, air temperature, specific conductance, pH, water temperature, turbidity, barometric pressure and dissolved oxygen are by the U.S. Geological Survey.
