LOCATION - Lat 34°33'28.2", long 80°53'36.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Chester County, SC, Hydrologic Unit 03050103, 800 ft below Dearborn Dam, on Catawba River 100 ft from left edge, 1.5 mi southeast of Great falls, SC and 19.1 miles southwest of Heath springs, SC.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4,100 mi²
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2016 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Considerable regulation, caused by dam upstream.

Maximum gage Height, 288.99 ft, Feb. 7, 2020.

Minimum gage height, 279.02 ft, July 16, 2018.

REMARKS - Data is collected for the months April through November. Considerable regulation, caused by dam upstream.

For the 2016 WY, Dissolved oxygen records rated excellent except for Sep. 27-30, which are good.
