- Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 35°41'09", long 82°03'37" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Mcdowell County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03050101, on right bank 18 ft downstream from bridge on SR 1221, 0.8 mile upstream from Buck Creek, and 0.8 mile southeast of Pleasant Gardens.
DRAINAGE AREA - 126 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1980 to current year. Occasional low-flow measurements, water years 1963, 1970-73, 1975.
GAGE - Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 1,233.81 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite and telephone telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge from rating curve extended above 10,000 ft³/s on basis of contracted-opening measurement of peak flow.
