LOCATION - Lat 40°00'57", long 75°05'50" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Philadelphia County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040202, on left bank at upstream side of Castor Avenue bridge, and 2.8 mi upstream from mouth in northeast Philadelphia.
DRAINAGE AREA - 30.4 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2009: 2008.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1982 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and concrete control. Datum of gage is 16.56 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the City of Philadelphia, Water Department and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Records for water year 2014 are fair, except those for June 9-July 9 and July 15-July 29, due to orifice problems, those for discharges less than 50 ft³/s, those for discharges greater than 500 ft³/s, and those for estimated daily discharges, all of which are poor. Records for water year 2015 are fair, except those for discharges less than 50 ft³/s, those for discharges greater than 500 ft³/s, and those for estimated daily discharges, all of which are poor. Records for water year 2016 are fair, except those for discharges less than 50 ft³/s and greater than 500 ft³/s, which are poor.  Records for water year 2017 are fair, except those for discharges less than 10 ft³/s and greater than 500 ft³/s, which are poor. Records for water year 2018 are fair, except those for discharges less than 10 ft³/s and greater than 500 ft³/s, which are poor.
