LOCATION - Lat 41°49'20", long 71°42'03" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Providence County, RI, Hydrologic Unit 01090004, on right bank 1,000 ft downstream from bridge on State Route 6, and at South Foster.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4.90 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water years 1993 to 2007; 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with telephone telemeter. Datum of gage is 359.20 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Providence Water (Providence Water Supply Board).
REMARKS - Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges, and those below 1.0 cfs, which are poor.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum instantaneous specific conductance: 249µS/cm on Oct. 17, 2020. Minimum instantaneous specific conductance: 64 µS/cm on Apr. 13, 2020.

EXTREMES FOR 2019 WATER-YEAR (min/max info): WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum instantaneous water temperature: 28.1 °C on July 21, 2019; Minimum instantaneous water temperature: 0.0 °C on Nov. 15, 2018, and many days throughout the winter.
