LOCATION - Lat 41°47'51", long 71°35'07" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Providence County, RI, Hydrologic Unit 01090004, on left bank 200 ft downstream from bridge on Route 116, and 2.4 mi south of North Scituate.

DRAINAGE AREA - 1.96 mi².

REVISIONS HISTORY - Datum of gage was revised on March 8, 2024 from 359.19 ft above NAVD88 to 311.7 ft above NAVD88 due to a probable misinterpretation of a topographic map.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

PERIOD OF RECORD - Water years 1993 to 2006, 2008; continuous data, water year 2009 to current year.

GAGE - Data Collection Platform with telephone telemeter. Datum of gage is 311.7 ft above NAVD 1988.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum instantaneous specific conductance: 645µS/cm on Aug. 11, 2020; Minimum instantaneous specific conductance: 87µS/cm on Apr. 14, 2020.

EXTREMES FOR 2019 WATER-YEAR: WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum instantaneous water temperature: 27.1°C on Jul. 21, 2019; Minimum instantaneous water temperature: -0.1°C on Nov. 15, 2018 and many other days throughout the winter.
