01104430 HOBBS BROOK BELOW CAMBRIDGE RESERVOIR NEAR KENDALL GREEN, MA
LOCATION - Lat 42°23'53", long 71°16'26" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Middlesex County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, 50 ft downstream from culvert on Winter Street, 300 ft downstream from gate house outlet from Cambridge Reservoir, and 1.3 mi north of Kendall Green.
DRAINAGE AREA - 6.86 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: July 1997 to current year. RESERVOIR ELEVATION: October 1999 to current year. RESERVOIR STORAGE: November 2000 to current year.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with telephone telemeter. Elevation of streamgage is 149.20 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, estimated from topographic map.  Datum of streamgage previously reported as 150 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map. Datum of reservoir gage is referenced to the City of Cambridge datum. Subtract 10.84 ft to convert to elevation above NGVD 1929. Subract 11.70 ft to convert to elevation above NAVD 1988. 
COOPERATION - Cambridge Water Department.
REMARKS - Records fair except those for flows less than 1.0 cfs, and those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Flow affected by regulation from dam, 300 ft upstream at outflow of Cambridge Reservoir.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - RESERVOIR ELEVATION: Maximum recorded, 184.41 ft, Mar. 15, 2010; minimum, 169.78 ft, Nov. 10, 2002. RESERVOIR STORAGE: Maximum recorded, 3,141 Mgal, Mar. 15, 2010; minimum, 771 Mgal, Nov. 12, 2002. 2015 WATER-YEAR SUMMARY (min/max info): Maximum instantaneous reservoir storage and corresponding reservoir elevation are 2546 Mgal and 181.46 ft on May 8, 11-13, 2015. Minimum instantaneous reservoir storage and corresponding reservoir elevation are 1202 Mgal and 173.26 ft on Sept 29 and 30, 2015.
