LOCATION - Lat 42°26'11", long 71°15'53" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Middlesex County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, on dirt road, 300 feet east of power lines, 500 ft upstream of Cambridge Reservoir, and 2.1 mi. southwest of Lexington.
DRAINAGE AREA - 0.35 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1997 to September 1998; November 2011 to October 2015 (discontinued).

REMARKS - EXTREMES FOR 2016 WATER-YEAR (min/max info): WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum instantaneous water temperature: 23.8 °C on Jul. 01, 2016; Minimum instantaneous water temperature: 0.0 °C on Dec. 29, 2015 and many other days throughout the winter. SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum instantaneous specific conductance: 8,670 µS/cm on Feb. 16, 2016; Minimum instantaneous specific conductance: 80 µS/cm on Jul. 10, 2016 (new extreme for period of record). Records for water temperature are rated as excellent. Records for specific conductance are rated as excellent except for following daily ranges: 2015/11/14 to 2015/12/05, 2015/12/08 to 2015/12/10, 2015/12/31, 2016/03/21, 2016/04/04 to 2016/04/05, 2016/04/07, 2016/07/10, and 2016/08/10 which are rated as good; and 2015/12/06 to 2015/12/07 which are rate poor.
