> Site Information
LOCATION.--Lat 43°13'08.2", long 78°54'44.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Niagara County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 04130001, 1.4 mi south of the intersection of Route 93 and Ransomville Road, near Ransomville.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 23 ft. Upper casing diameter 48 in; top of first opening 0 ft, bottom of last opening 24 ft. Well filled in from original depth of 24 ft, cased to 24 ft (stone lined). Elevation of land-surface datum is 335.95 ft above NGVD of 1929 and 335.40 ft above NAVD of 1988.
DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 335.4 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of shelter shelf, 3.43 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 10, 2016 to present.  
PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1972 to September 1997 and October 2004 to current year. Records for August 1972 to September 1976 are unpublished and available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey.
REVISIONS HISTORY.--WDR NY-97-3: 1983 to 1991 water level. The elevation of land-surface datum was revised from 336.66 ft above NGVD of 1929 to 335.95 ft above NGVD of 1929 on February 26, 2021.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder--15-minute; periodic measurements made by USGS personnel.
REMARKS.--Satellite water-level telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Highest water level, 0.10 ft below land-surface datum. Mar. 26, 2007; lowest water level, 13.88 ft below land-surface datum, Dec. 21, 1991.
